Our cloisonn pins is the fine-art tradition of glass enameling, it started in China centuries age. The pins are made from hand-prouing powdered glass into the recesses of a die-struck (stamped) brass base. The brass can be plated in gold, silver, or nickel. After being baked at a very high temperature, the glass enamel is sanded and polished to be flush with the metal lines that separate the colors. This gives the pins a smooth and lustrous quality.

Epola pins are made using the same technique as the cloisonn, but the recessed spaces are filled with a hard epoxy enamel rather than glass. The Epola filling gives a beautiful, high quality look similar to that of the cloisonn, but at a lower price and with Pantone color options. Gold, silver or nickel plated. So on.

For a less expensive version of our Epola pin that has the same look and PMS color options, try the Die-Struck Softet Enamel. With this style, a soft enamel is painted into the recesses of the brass die-struck base, leaving a relief effect that lets you feel the die-struck pattern, Gold, silver or nickel plated. Add a clear epoxy dome for long-lasting durability and a shiny, finished look.

The basic die-struck pin gives a classic dimensional look without adding color. It is made from either brass or steel that is stamped with the pin design and cut out. The metal base is then plated with gold, silver or nickel, and can be antiqued, sandblasted, or simply polished.

The screen-printed pin is an excellent choice for color pins with small details, Your artwork is perfectly reproduced onto a shaped metal base without the need for metal lines separating the PMS colors, Add a clear epoxy dome for durability and a shiny, finished look.

Your design is chemically etched into brass, creating recesses which are then filled with soft enamel, The etching process allows for high definition of lettering and design, with colors separated by metal lines, Gold, silver or nickel plated, Clear epoxy finish available.

For a more three-dimensional look we recommend using pewter or zinc alloy molded pins, Melted pewter or zinc alloy is poured into a mold created from your design, After it cools, the pin is polished smooth and plated, this method allows for very small detail and cut-out lettering. Gold, silver or nickel plated.

Coins and Medallions have most or the options available in creating a lapel pin, but are made with either a thick die-struck brass, or zinc alloy injection molding. A variety of enameling, metal plating, and sandblasting finishes can be used to give the coin or medallion its own unique and high quality look.

Offset printing is best used for designs with detailed color gradations, we create the effect using a similar process to that of the Photo Dome pins, but with the design printed directly onto the metal base, the print is then covered with an epoxy dome for long-lasting protection. Offset printing is typically used for large quantity orders due to the complexity of the process.
